Hope, hope, hope--How I want hope. How I need hope. Everyday, I need encouragment to fight the good fight of faith, to believe that God is good, that God is with me, that God is working all things together for my good. Everyday, I need HOPE as a fuel to keep me pressing on in Christ, to keep looking to Jesus for forgiveness, help, wisdom, my righteousness, perseverance and love.
Hold out hope to me. Anyone.
I am desperate for hope.
I know I'm not alone.
One of my pastors spoke from one of my favorite passages in the Bible this past Sunday with the theme of "hope". I want to have this passage of scripture before me all this week. Perhaps I'll memorize it. Do you want to memorize it, too?
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
Isaiah 61:1-3

It was a great message, I agree.
BTW, knowing your love of Nancy Guthrie, you might want to check out her "One Year Book of Hope." My favorite devotional of all time.
